Book of the Day

NoveList

NY Times Bestsellers

Although technically a science fiction book about time travel, the story is excellent. 'Present day' is the late 70s, as the book was originally written at that time. An African American woman, married to a white man, travels back in time to her ancestors' plantation. Her relatives include a slave, as well as the white plantation owner's son. Her experiences with her ancestors are both riveting and troubling.
