Become a Library Champion
BCCLS and Local Library Champions were created in 2009 as part of advocating adequate funding for public libraries. More than 1,000 of you spoke up vigorously during attacks on minimum funding for libraries. The BCCLS Champion lists are not shared with any other organization, and are used exclusively to provide critical advocacy information for our Champions to write and speak with elected officials. We value your time and treasure your support.
Library Champions are patrons who love their libraries and want to be in the know about issues that may affect them. Library Champions' email addresses will be entered into a distribution list. When important library issues arise, Library Champions are notified so they can then take appropriate action such as phone calls, emails to legislators or simply talking up the library to their neighbors.
Please join in this effort.
