The end of 2013 year saw the release of both the Xbox One and the PS4. Both systems got off to a great start and are striving to deliver a next gen experience for your living room. Everything from the Xbox One’s Kinect motion sensor, entertainment and voice commands to the PS4’s strict “it’s just for games” mentality will make any hard core gamer happy. Don’t think we forgot about the other guys either. This list is comprised of 29 games across just about every platform available. So sit back, relax and get your Game On!

Players can learn different dance styles from around the world including Salsa, Hip-Hop, Tahitian, Calypso, Bollywood, Cumbia, Reggaeton and Irish Step, plus new additions like Plena, Blues, Capoeira and Girly Funk. It’s all here and ready to be harnessed with the power of Kinnect or your Wii systems motion sensors. (Available on Xbox One, Wii U, Wii, 3DS)

Kirby Triple Deluxe

A staple in the Nintendo universe Kirby is back with an all new adventure that will surely please all 3DS owners everywhere. Although this is a side scroller you can move Kirby from the background to the foreground to get around enemies. Also, there are two new game modes to choose from as well. There’s plenty to choose, from the 20 new copy abilities to the new Hypernova ability to syncing to Kirby music to collect coins. (Available on 3DS)

Knack

Knack

A game which encompasses characteristics of Crash Bandicoot and Katamari Damacy. Knack sure didn’t seem like it would be all that good at first. You’ll gladly change your mind once you start playing though. Knack allows him to incorporate ice, metal and other substances into his body, giving him new abilities from level to level. When war has been brought against mankind by Goblins, you’re going to need them. (Available on PS4)

Need for Speed: Rivals

Need for Speed: Rivals

Players take on the role of a Racer or a Cop, with each side of the law offering its own set of challenges, risks and rewards. Rivals features eleven upgradeable gadgets such as EMPs, shockwaves and the ability to call in roadblocks. The game takes place in a fictional location known as Redview County. It's an open world and features over 100 miles of open road. (Available on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3)

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare

Are you a Plant or a Zombie? You get to decide! You can have up to 24-player online battles, 4-player online co-op, unlock new abilities and even level up your character allowing you to access features such as upgrades, new characters, weapon skins and character clothing. (Available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4)

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault

A third-person shooter starring Ratchet & Clank themselves! There is a new tower defense element featuring five levels set on three different planets. The game allows players to play as Ratchet, Clank (in either his Giant Clank or normal forms), or Captain Qwark. This title also features the ability for co-op play, both on and offline. (Available on PS3)

Well look no further than this game. Hop in your tank, get geared up and show them what you’re made of! (Available on WiiU)

Infamous: Second Son

What’s great about this game other than the cool powers you possess and gain is that you can choose throughout the story whether you want to be good or bad. Your actions decide your fate in this really fun open-world game. Set in fictional Seattle you play Delsin Rowe and his fight against the Department of Unified Protection (D.U.P.) (Available on PS4)

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark

Battle it out with 40 playable characters on both Cybertron and on Earth to secure the Dark Spark. You can play in an online multiplayer mode where four players fend off waves of increasingly tough enemies, returned with the addition of upgradable defenses. Autobots roll out! (Available on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, WiiU, Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS)

Square Enix which is most famous for the Final Fantasy series has another massive hit on their hands. If you love RPGs you’ve come to the right place. Totally get immersed in this game from the new risk/reward system to the hand drawn 3D background to the amazing musical score. (Available on 3DS)

Hyrule Warriors

At first glance you may not know this is a Zelda game. Now that you know that, you play Link from the classic series The Legend of Zelda (along with many characters from the series as well) in an all new adventure that should get all Wii U owners excited. (Available on Wii U)

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

A third-person shooter in the style of Indian Jones, has Nathan Drake in search of the legendary lost city the Iram of the Pillars. Things never go to plan in the Uncharted universe so when things head in that direction you’ll be glad for all new physics, gunplay, melee attacks and most of all, your wits. (Available on PS3)

So we’ve had games on this list where you kill monsters and that’s cool but this game stands above those. Originally slated for the PS3 it ended coming to Nintendo instead. One of the premier games in their library and for good reason. You take on the role of a monster slayer from the Guild, assigned to help revitalize Moga Village, a small fishing community that is under threat of monsters from a nearby deserted island. Complete free hunts, collect materials, slay monsters. Wash, rinse, repeat for one great game! (Available on Wii U, Wii, 3DS)

Pandora's Tower

A monstrous curse is consuming a young woman. Only the flesh of beasts dwelling within the Thirteen Towers can save her and you must get it for her. Don’t miss this Action role playing game of beastly proportions. (Available on Wii)

In this third person open-world Zombie game, you play Nick Ramos a mechanic trying to survive the Zombie Apocalypse set in fictional Los Perdidos, California. Throughout the game you can collect weapons, supplies, food, power ups, maps and much more. There is nothing cooler than making a half motorcycle half steam roller and driving through town giving the Zombies what for. (Available on Xbox One)

Destiny

Is it a first-person shooter? Is it an RPG? Is it strategy? It’s all of it and then some. Travel across the galaxy, protect earth, save mankind and become a legend all while building your character and customizing your ship. There is nothing worse than playing a level 12 level with your friends online while you yourself are only a level 4. But man is it fun. (Available on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4)

Murdered: Soul Suspect

Murdered: Soul Suspect

You play Detective Ronan O’ Connor in Salem, Massachusetts on the hunt for the bell Killer who ends up throwing you out of a window and finishes you off by shooting you. Here’s where it gets interesting. You are now a ghost with some pretty cool ghostly abilities. You look for clues, come across other ghosts and even interact with your deceased wife who you can’t be with until all unfinished business binding you to the living world. This is a Third person action adventure stealth game of ghostly proportions! (Available on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4)

Sniper Elite V2

Sniper Elite V2

You are elite US sniper, Karl Fairburne. You have been sent behind enemy lines into besieged Berlin during the final moments of World War II. With the Russians tightening their grip around Berlin, several top figures in the German V2 rocket program look likely to fall into their hands. You cannot let this happen. Your mission is to aid those figures keen to defect to the Allies and to terminate those thought likely to defect to the Russians. (Available on Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3)

This third person open-world game is very similar to the Grand Theft Auto series. The big difference is it might actually be better. You play Aiden Pearce a tech savvy vigilante trying to find your niece’s murderer. Throughout the game you come across clues, side missions, weapons and just about anything else you can think of in this huge open world game. (Available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360)

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order

The year is 1960 and the Nazi’s have won World War II. Your character has been in a vegetative state after receiving a head injury from an allied raid against the Nazis 14 years prior. You are sent to an asylum in Poland for recovery. The Nazis have ordered that all the patients of this asylum be destroyed and the building shut down. This doesn’t bode well for them because now you’re awake, angry and ready to stop the Nazis from ruling the world. This is a first person action shooter and consists of melee attacks, firearms, explosives and much more! (Available on PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One)
